Call for Papers

The Journal of Islamic Communication Studies (JICoS), published biannually in January and July by the Master's Program in Islamic Communication and Broadcasting at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, invites scholars, researchers, and graduate students to submit original scholarly articles for consideration.​

JICoS serves as a platform for the dissemination of research findings and conceptual analyses that explore the theories, practices, and contemporary trends in Islamic communication from multi- and interdisciplinary perspectives. The journal welcomes contributions that delve into various aspects of Islamic communication, including but not limited to public speaking, broadcasting, mass communication, journalism, and new media studies.​

Submissions must be original, unpublished works that are not under consideration elsewhere. All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity.​
